The Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer or MUSE (Bacon et al. 2010) is a panoramic integral-field spectrograph operating in the optical wavelength range. It is mounted at the UT4 of the European Southern Observatory (ESO)’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Cerro Paranal, Chile.
